One-Day Detail Training Class in Houston TX

It’s finally here! We’re now offering in-person training classes so you can improve you detailing skills, gain confidence to service customers, and increase your efficiency to make more money.

Class size will be no more than 2 people. Here’s the thing I’ve noticed with a lot of training classes:

The group is too big so it’s hard to get one-on-one attention
Your sitting in a classroom the entire time which isn’t real world training
You’re taught how to detail the interior and exterior without a focus on efficiency or SOPs
The “business” portion, which is the most important, is usually what you spend the least amount of time on

This will be a hybrid class where we’ll mix in how to detail the interior and exterior of a car, how to deliver results based on the customers budget and needs, how to think about efficiency, and how you would scale your operations.

Meet Your Instructors

Oscar Gil, Business Instructor

The first hour of the session, we’ll start off by going over your business. You’ll ask any questions you want pertaining to marketing, sales, hiring, or operations.

Throughout the day, Oscar will interject business advise so you can get the full picture of what it is to actually run a detailing business.

There will also be a Q&A towards the end of the training to ask about any other business related topics.

Here’s What You Get With The Training

👉🏽 Real world detailing

I’m not here to simply teach you how to clean an interior or how to polish paint. I want you to get a thorough understand of the technical side of detailing, but also understand how you fit that into running a business and fulfill services based on the customers budget and needs. Some of the things we’ll cover:

Interior cleaning: vacuuming, cleaning leather, shampooing fabric material, smoke odor removal, using various tools and machines like a hot water extractor, steamer, water claw, and air compressor
Prepping for correction: cleaning wheels and tires, proper wash methods, iron decontamination, clay bar treatments, taping sensitive areas, and panel wiping paint
Paint correction: Using different pads, polishes, and machines to remove swirls, how to work on different panels, cleaning your pads, and inspecting your results

👉🏽 Efficiency over detailing

Learning how to detail is one thing. Understanding how to create an efficient process to complete the vehicle faster is another thing entirely. Throughout the training, we’ll cover efficiency and running your operations:

How to create systems for a 2-man team across any service
How you set the standard for techs in your company
How to balance the customers budget and needs versus overdelivering
How to schedule and manage multiple customers per day

As of now, the class size will be limited to maximum of 2 people. That way there’s plenty of time to focus in on your specific needs instead of having to manage 10 different people at once.
